Consumer Reports Most Reliable Used Small Cars

The Honda Civic is the most reliable small car according to Consumer Reports (CR) "Best of the best" list of used cars for 2009. Page 78 of the May 2009 "Annual Auto Issue" of Consumer Reports ranks the "best of the best" used cars in order of their overall reliability scores for model years 1999 to 2008. Each car model has at least three years of reliability data. The Honda Civic tops CR's list this year followed by seven others CR rates as "other good choices."
